My name is Jan Lenzen. I joined Kather Augenstein as a lawyer after my admission to the bar in 2026.

I have been advising national and international clients from various industries of intellectual property law.

After completing my First State Examination in Law, I worked as a research associate at a Düsseldorf law firm specialising in intellectual property, with a particular focus on trademark and patent law.

During my legal traineeship and following my Second State Examination, I gained valuable practical experience at international law firms, further developing my expertise, particularly at the intersection of IP, data and technology. My broad legal background across IP, data and technology, combined with my strong affinity for academic research, continues to enrich my work as a lawyer every day.
